Our hearts sank last night when we found out that the woman in the story was our beloved peer and friend. She has severe brain damage and other physical injuries as well. Please take the time to reblog this and spread the word. She needs as much prayers and love as possible. She is a strong amazing dancer and person and all we can do is hope. Pray for Polina. <3
Polina was hit by a drunk driver on Sunday morning and is in a coma. Please keep her in your prayers and take a moment to view her beauty and talent! Such a gorgeous dancer. This is WAY too similar to the story of Elena Shapiro who was a member of The Carolina Ballet. She was hit and killed by a doctor who was driving drunk. Elena Shapiro
